Recovery Exercises
These exercises are provided as a guide. Only repeat as many
times as recommended by your Doctor. And discontinue exercise if you feel
unusual discomfort.
Double Knee to Chest Surgery Recovery
Exercise

- Lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat on the floor, arms at your
side, palms down.
- Bring both knees to your chest, clasping hands around your knees.
- Pull firmly to your chest.
- Hold for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Relax.
Hamstring Stretch Surgery Recovery Exercise

- Lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat on the floor, arms at your
side, palms down.
- Raise your left leg as far up as possible without straining muscles behind
your leg.
- Return left left.
- Repeat with right leg.
- Relax.
Hip Rotator Surgery Recovery Exercise

- Lie on your back, knees bent, feet flat on the floor, arms at your
side, palms down.
- Raise one leg, straighten, and bring it towards the opposite side oft he
body.
- Return to first position. Relax.
- Repeat with opposite leg.
Calf Stretch Surgery Recovery Exercise

- Place hands against the wall, left foot about 18 inches behind right
foot, keeping heel flat and left knee straight.
- Slowly lean towards wall, until you feel calve stretching.
- Hold for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Relax and repeat with opposite leg.
Abdominal Toning Surgery Recovery Exercise

- Lie on your back, knees bent, and arms at your side, palms down.
- Raise your head and shoulders from the floor to reach your knees.
- Hold for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Relax.
Abdominal Toning Surgery Recovery Exercise

- Lie on your back with your arms at your side.
- Place a pillow under the small of your back.
- Raise both legs till your thighs are perpendicular to the floor.
- Push your hands against your thighs for resistance.
- Hold for 10 to 30 seconds.
- Relax.
